First forward in 17 submissions

Post by joe44850 » Mon Mar 10, 2025 8:28 pm

It's been a while since I've had good news. When I saw that I had a new Taxi notification, my heart sank. I thought, "where did I go wrong this time", but thankfully, it was a forward:

The brief:
"Please submit modern Country Songs with a modern sound, killer grooves, R&B influences, and the potential to be a chart-topping Country hit! This Publisher is looking for tracks that have a captivating energy and a feel-good vibe, all propelled by groove-oriented rhythms that immediately set the mood. Memorable melodies, unforgettable choruses, solid arrangements, infectious arrangements, and well-crafted lyrics are all needed. Instrumentation in the general stylistic ballpark of the reference Songs and other similar Country Songs will work best. Please make sure that any virtual instruments or samples you use are high-quality and not dated-sounding. Compelling and well-performed Male vocals with an authentic sound are needed!"

The track:
Mama Raised Cain

First forward after 17 submissions is really good, a lot of members including me go through 70-80 returns before they get a forward.

Congrats!
