I'm a composer but also have a side business doing live recordings of classical music performances, mostly at one university. I've been doing this for several years and have gotten business mostly by posting flyers (8" x 5") along with business cards on bulletin boards. I'm wondering if I can stop using the business cards and simply post the flyers with a QR (matrix) code on them. Or should I continue to put up business cards as well?
Your thoughts are appreciated.

Re: flyer with QR code in lieu of business cards?
personally, I do not like QR codes. Never use them, don't have an app that will recognize them. But I may be way off base. I guess it depends on who your clients are. My first inclination it to say if it isn't broke, don't fix it.
But you may want to try a test. Do some flyers with QR code and some with Cards. Track which one gets you better results. Then you will know for sure moving forward.
