Oh and further curious about the member status. Obviously I'm a new member, but does Senior, or Ultimate have to do with success with Taxi or just an extended '"tag" so to speak for folks around here in the Taxi forum in relation to their experience?Looking forward to more, nice chattin!

Quote:Thank You VikkiI just figured out that the posts are found on the "last pages" of the threads. Wasn't sure what I was doing either. Thanks also Ted for the help steering, honestly curious about the "Pyrenees".HA! A Great Pyrenees is a breed of big dog. They are first cousins of Saint Bernards (and named for the region --The Pyrenees are sort of like the French Alps, on the western border with Spain-- where they were originally bred), but they are ALL white, with 6-8" long hair. Happiest, best natured animal I've ever had the priviledge of sharing my life with.Ted

Your 51st post, you move up to "Junior" member. With your 101st, "full" member. At 251, "Senior" member, and at 501, "ultimate" member. (Those may not be the exact numbers, but I'm sure I'm close...)It's got nothing to do with deals made through TAXI or levels of success, other than successfully working these boards to your advantage and being part of the support community here.Hope that helps.Ted

I don't think anyone ever answered Tanja. Welcome and yes you can be a better lyric writer! I am living proof of that. Keep posting.CiscoQuote:Hi everybody,My name is Tanja and I just joined Taxi and the board literally this week. I have been thinking about joining for couple of years and for some reason now seemed to be a good time (and I had some leftover loot...). I am a songwriter/singer (mainly Adult Contemporary songs) originally from Finland and have been writing for about two years now. I write great melodies but often (=always) really get stuck on the lyrics side - I wonder if writing great (and I mean great) lyrics is something you can still learn over time or whether I am stuck in mediocrity forever. If you want to hear what my songs sound like you can visit www.myspace.com/tanjasmusicVikki: I think the Newbie corner idea would be really great because I have no idea where else to put my intro besides here. I look forward to posting and interacting with all of you while learning to be a better writer.Cheers,Tanja

On most songwriting boards, the number of posts you make is noted somewhere near your avatar. And on several boards, you are "awarded" with "levels" as your posts increase. On the Taxi board, newbie's have one star and those with a couple thousand posts have many more stars. So, in other words.... I talk a lot
