Forward for QUIRKY, DRAMEDY-Style INSTRUMENTAL

Post by shenrichs » Tue May 30, 2017 2:18 pm

I got a forward today for a QUIRKY, DRAMEDY-Style INSTRUMENTAL. Here's the listing and a link to my track:

https://soundcloud.com/steve-henrichs/cool-and-sneaky

Several QUIRKY, DRAMEDY-Style INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed for several $100, NON-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placements in a new Reality TV Series. They’re eagerly looking to find some Mid-to-Up-Tempo Dramedy Cues that can range from quirky and mischievous, to playful and sneaky. Please listen to the following references to get in the stylistic wheelhouse of what they’re looking for: Long Island Medium (:00 - :15) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JBdrFhK7qs Our Little Family (1:00 – 1:42) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OMq8QDlqDY Kendra On Top (:05 - :16) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAGRfI-ketI Please submit fun, lighthearted, bouncy, plucky Instrumental Cues that could work for silly, funny, or sneaky scenes in Reality Television Shows. Instrumentation that could work well for this pitch includes (but is not limited to): Pizzicato Strings, Glockenspiel, Marimba, Xylophone, Tympani, Oboe, Clarinet, Whistles, etc., etc. Layering Instrumentation in and out as your Cue progresses to create dynamics and forward momentum is a good idea. Please avoid submitting anything that’s so frenetic or overly busy that it could distract from a scene’s dialogue. Your submissions should be no more than 2 minutes long. Good edit points and non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). The estimated license fee for this show is $100, depending on the ultimate placement. This is a Non-Exclusive, Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Master and Composition rights, plus you’ll also get 100% of any applicable sync fees and any applicable performance royalties. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a TAXI screener handpicked by the Music Supervisor - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017. TAXI #Y170503QD
