I got a Forward for

A-LIST MUSIC SUPERVISOR needs current HIP HOP SONGS and INSTRUMENTALS for a feature film that she's currently working on. She needs Songs OR Instrumental Tracks in ALL TEMPOS that you would find in the general, stylistic wheelhouse of Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Diddy. It’s okay if your tracks have a slight cross over feel into contemporary sounding R&B like the referenced songs below. Please listen to the following songs to hear what we mean: “Good Life” Kanye West ft. T Pain: : http://bit.ly/bOkjZI “Somewhere In America” by Jay Z: http://bit.ly/13TH4rT “Money, Money, Money” Red Café ft. Fabolous & Diddy: http://bit.ly/d8Txsb ***NOTE: Some of the lyrics on the reference tracks are explicit. Explicit lyrics will NOT work for this film. The Music Supervisor likes the feel and vibe of these songs, but she needs CLEAN, PG 13-Rated lyrics from you. Please DO NOT submit songs with profanity. Your lyric themes are not as important as the overall feel of your track for this pitch. Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recordings will be fine). And please remember, the Music Supervisor will consider both Songs (male vocals are preferred) AND Instrumentals. It's important that your music sounds like an artist who would be played on today's radio, or something that might be played at a party with teenagers and young adults. Make sure that your tracks and/or songs are engaging and have interesting beats. Songs with a strong sense of dynamics and bass/drum drops will be a huge plus. These tracks and/or songs will be used as background source music, so make sure that whatever you submit will work well when played back with dialogue. Quoting the Music Supervisor: "I'm looking for two different songs, for two different scenes. One use will only be about 15 seconds, so the track or song has to immediately give the right feel and energy. The other song will play much longer in the background of a party scene. I need some good youthful energy, but there will also be lots of dialogue, so I can't have anything that's too overpowering." The estimated license fee for this is $750-$3,000, depending on the use. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you'll keep 100% of the sync fees and all the royalties. You must own or control 100% of your master and composition rights in order to submit for this request. Please do not copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Do not submit any tracks that contain unauthorized samples of any other artists’ work. All songs and instrumentals will be screened on a Yes/No basis directly by the Music Supervisor for this film! No full critiques. Please submit 1-3 Songs OR Instrumentals no later than Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10:00am (PDT). TAXI #U130829HH
