It keep us from freaking out about stuff that is normal, routine, or just plain ol' out of our control.Inside or outside of Taxi, submissions generally go into what I think of as a black hole. The only time information comes out of that black hole is when they're interested in making a deal of some sorts. You'll never get a phone call from anyone saying "Hey, just wanted to take the time to say I wasn't interested, etc.".I have a thing I call "submit and forget". It works better the more you submit. I've found that when I'm focused on submitting, I'm taking those forward steps that someday can lead to a deal. Wondering what happened to my submission two months ago, when theyr'e going to call, etc... at best I'm standing still and more likely I'm actually going backwards. Regarding how long it might take to get a deal from a forward. Mine have ranged from three weeks to two years from my forward date to my deal date.. You can never tell so it's best to focus on "what can I submit today?". HTH,DavePS - Congratulations on the forward and good critiques. That's a great way to start!

Ya know, we've been members of TAXI since 2006, and we've submitted more times than I can count. We get stellar reviews, but no forwards....at all. I think I've had about enough. $1,200 dollars later and we're just $1,200 poorer. We've got a pending contract with a record company in Wisconsin and we owe none of that to TAXI. So far, I haven't been able to confirm ANYONE that claims they've been forwarded to a company actually has been. If you have and I've stepped on your toes, I sincerely apologize, but this is our last year with this service.
