Hey, LQ....what a poignant, haunting and beautiful tune. Your lyrics are as good as Martina McBride's "Independence Day," one of my favorite tunes about domestic violence. Good luck with this girl....it's a great song!

Morning,Thank you so much for listening and for your kind comments.This song was inspired (although, that is a difficult word to use here) from the sad life of my co writer Janine Talbot's friend....Janine is the inspiration behind the lyrics....the music is all TL Lock.The song was written long before ever I saw this listing, and it was a "rough" demo.....and on the shelf it sat until someone pointed out this listing to me.I do hope it might give courage in it's sheer honesty to some woman who faces such horror.....and thinks even twice about whether she should leave a situation such as this.Again, thanks for listening ....
