I have experimented with 5/4 before. I found it difficult. It was quite challenging to play phrases over the track that were not contained (separately) within each bar.

I'll give these a try! These will be like Pink Floyd's Money...right?

It all comes around to 4 at some point! Have fun.
If you really want to have some fun... play 4 against 7!!!!! (my training tricks from my jazz days)...
If all else fails... you can say, "this track is influenced by Frank Zappa"!!!!!!!!

*TIP*: These work excellent for underscore... (play around with some Diva soundscapes against these 7/8 grooves, you'll see what I mean!)
