I saw the listing for the Genetics song and knew I had to at least take a shot.

I had aN instrumental track that I had recently produced that I was extremely proud of (Thanks to Andy Gabrys for some drum advice). When I saw the listing I knew that THIS track was the right one for the job...if I could come up with lyrics and a melody about genetics.
I LOVE making wacky, silly songs, so I just rolled up my sleeves and starting creating as many silly rhymes as I could with "genetics". Turns out there are quite a few words that rhyme.
After writing a ton of lyrics and talking with many science-y friends, I came up with a set of lyrics (and a melody) that I didn't hate. I then realized that if I didn't get help MIXING this I was screwed. So I called my buddy Pedro Costa. The mix came out great.
This was my fastest forward (I think). So, I'm going to revel in the excitement of a forward that I felt strongly about, then write/submit/forget/repeat.
