Hey Taxi Live BLUE DOT Crew, were on a mission to get Marion to TRR this year. In case you haven't hears she recently lost her mother, so we want to help ease the burden to get her there. Thank you all! I have my rally tickets but still need to get airline tickets and the room registered. My composer friend Teporah Bilizekian might be able to come to RR and would be willing to split the room costs with me, so that would help if she can.

My plan is to fly into LAX, as I can get a direct flight there from NW AR, and then rent a car to drive down to San Diego for Mom's funeral. I'll spend a little time with our cousins before driving back to LAX to turn in the car and take the shuttle to the hotel. (Actually, will probably rent 2 cars and turn them in after arrival both times, to avoid extra days that I won't need.)

I so appreciate everyone who has been so kind. I can't wait to meet you all in person! We've been TAXI family and friends for years, and I feel privileged to know you!

And my friend in San Diego suggested that I take a shuttle from the airport to the train station and take the train to San Diego for the funeral instead of driving down, probably a good idea, as it's about 18 years since I tackled LA traffic.

I still don't have my plane tickets or room reservation. If anyone has any ideas about that, I'd appreciate it! Thanks bunches!
