Great advice all over the place! you should def master your tracks, you can do it fancy or you can just slap a com+eq+limiter and you'll be fine.
Sending rough mixes can hurt the overall experience, specially when music supervisors are listening to several tracks on a row.
Every library asks for mastered music.
As @cosmicdolphin said, you have to use the same setting when bouncing stems, don't touch anything! because at the end of the day, those stems are going to be "summed" and the editor will have a bad time :D
