Re: Go Nutrients Demo
Mark,
You didn't include a link to the song in your post. A lot of people on this forum put the link to their Taxi page in their signature. You'll see that I do that. Then you just name the song like you did, and everybody can just click on the link to your Taxi page and find it. Does that make sense?

Re: Go Nutrients Demo
Mark,
Thanks for the reply. I tried to add the link, but I don't know my url. I looked on my taxi music page and it just said, "user=me". How did you find out your url?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark, I took a guess that your username was your taxi member name and there you were

If you find the link above here on the orange bar 'User Control Panel' you can click from there to 'Profile' and then 'Signature '
Paste the following in if you would link your link to appear in your forum posts.
Had a listen, my guess was that the screener had a tough time with this one, you got all the elements in but I felt something wasn't quite gelling between your two vocals, maybe rhythmically?
heck is was allot of words though hey.
Something around it gelling in rhythm and pitch between the vocals would be my guess. Sorry I can't hone in exactly technically.
Hope I helped
Sedge,
Edit: btw welcome to the most addictive music place on the net!

Re: Go Nutrients Demo
I agree with Sedge. It seems like you have all the elements in there. Must have been close call.
My comment would be....vocals a little unitelligible. I think this is a combination of tempo and eq. I cant remember whether there was a time specified, but its a lot to squeeze in ! Given the opportunity I would have slowed it down. The vocals could have done with being pushed above the acoustic aswell. Panning the two vocals slightly, and eq'ing would have helped also.

Yeah... the lyrics were a bit hard to understand in places.... the 2 singers were not grooving together, and the guitar, IIRC was slightly out of tune at the beginning.
It was a difficult tune to do. I saw that listing, read the words and thought to myself.... you're kidding ...right? and decided not to write the tune.

Re: Go Nutrients Demo
I worked on this piece and waited. My first attempt at a jingle. I kind of shot myself in the foot on this one as I mis-read the listing. I assumed the vocal would be re-recorded by a male and female singer and that they just needed the melody/lyric. My own fault. The song is on my Taxi page and is called "A Healthy Love Affair"
