Going thru my neurotic packing list...

Well, I'm flying to LA tomorrow morning from the Philly area. Today I'm getting organized and packed, going thru the neurotic checklist. In addition to CDs, biz cards, a few lyric sheets, guitar, tuner, capo, and other music related things, when I travel I make sure I'm prepared for any aliment that might strike... I carry pills with me for headache, upset stomach, can't sleep, can't wake up, hang-nail, muscle spasm, bubonic plaque, cholera, diptheria, whooping cough... whatever.

You sound just like me!! I pack things that I hardly ever use at home, but because I'm travelling I worry that I might just need them. And of course I pack double the amount of clothes that I actually need; just in case it's going to be too hot or too cold!

Well, the way I see it is you're lugging a suitcase anyway. So if it fits in the suitcase... why not? It's like the Post Office commercial... "If it fits, it ships"...

Hi Casey, I travel a lot and still have to get something when I arrive. This time am excited to bring a small suitcase, and even put a melodica in it, so I'll have a sax and melodica if anyone wants some wind instruments in their jams. I may also be bringing hiccups. Have had them for 8 days now, however, thanks to three doctors, and a chiro, I am bringing plenty of medications, and today had a 10.5 hour break from hiccups, so I think it's working. If not, it should be easy to find me. ( I'll be the one jumping every 7 seconds --- out of time with whatever music is playing.)

Looking forward to meeting you all, and to the ralley. Will be my first! (and I've brought dots for anyone that needs em.). Alright four and a half hours until the airport. Safe travels all.
