Good DI for guitar with Logic?

Post by careymoore615 » Mon Feb 12, 2018 5:22 pm

Running Logic 9 on an iMac.
Looking for a good way to connect an electric guitar.
I have a presonus audiobox that i use with my midi keyboard. but it doesn't create enough power for a guitar sound.
i've been going through an alesis multimix 4, but it distorts way too easily.
is there a decent, inexpensive pre-amp that connects via usb?
thanks in advance for any help.

Apogee Jam works beautifully. You can usually pick a used one up pretty cheap on eBay.
