GOT MY HANDS ON EZ DRUMMER & DFH!!!

Post by ibanez468 » Wed Jul 02, 2008 2:09 pm

Hey TAXIdermites! Just got my hands on EZ Drummer & EZX DFH this afternoon. Just finished installing an hour ago, and I listened to a few of the general midi loops for EZ and then listened to the cocktail kit for a minute, and then switched over ta' DFH for a little more excitement! I definitely like the "drumkit from hell" and the midi loops for that expansion pack. My kinda' sound.I like the ease of use so far. No problems. Installation was relatively painless. I'll definitely be hookin' some things up with this particular drum kit, no doubt. Well, just thought I'd join the ranks of EZD users out there. Back ta' playin' around! I-468PS -- Oh yeah, forgot ta' mention all of the midi loops available for EZD from the monkee groove website. Headed that way right now. I'm sure all of you guys have 'em. How do they sound?

Nice I-man!I picked up the Nashville kit after a few months...whoa, lots to learn. But it's really great to just pick a loop and play along, ain't it?And BTW....I'm now your faithful sidekick...call me "I-Boy". I picked up an Ibanez Gio bass(my nephew wants to learn). It's got the two sets of pickups and active circuit on board...I'm gonna hold onto it for a few months and give my p-bass copy to my nephew. I'll post up when I get a good song recorded. I can't believe how well this thing plays for the price...how do dey do dat?!?

Oh yeah jh, it's a never ending cycle. As long as we're in the music business, and technology moves at the rate that it's currently goin' at now, we'll always be buyin' somethin else. It never stops. Not if you wanna be current, that is.I-468

And Dev (oh, I'm sorry, I-Boy ),Yeah, pickin'a loop, and ploppin' it in the DAW, is a piece of cake. I was on a mad hunt for an Ibanez 5-string left-handed bass. Not much success. The one that I really liked has been discontinued. One of my buddies has a 5-string (right-handed) Ibanez. I think it's a SR500. It does sound good. He's really into basses, and can tell a good one from a bad one, and was quite surprised that Ibanez had put out such a solid model, at such a reasonable price. He was pretty happy with it. Don't know exactly HOW they do it, but they do!I-468

Count me in--I just ordered EZ Drummer with a 15% discount, woohoo. I'm tired of drums being the weakest link in my recordings.Fingers crossed...
