It seems like one long verse to me--no real chorus or bridge.

How about "American woman"? Wasn't that a one chord song? verse and chorus were almost interchangable.

Has anyone had songs forwarded, that break the same rules that some of these examples do?

Among the songs I got forwarded for a folk listing was Waitin' For A Sign, which has a one-line prechorus chorus that is the same as the verse, but folk may have looser structure strictures than pop or country.

Best stretch to make a rhyme...In the song, "Lodi" by Creedence, the first 2 lines of every verse rhyme. Now look at these first 2 lines of verse 2:Rode in on the Greyhound, I'll be walkin' out if I go.I was just passin' through, must be seven months or more. Just how can "go" rhyme with "more"?? Fogerty pronounces it as "moe"!! Casey

i saw someone mentioned strange lyrics, and i know i am way off topic. But i never understood Queen's I want to break free ?I fallin in lovei fallin in love for the first timeand this time i know it's for real ??english is not my native language, but it seems weird ?you can not fall in love for the first time and know that "this" time is for real, you have to have at least one previous love ?

How 'bout "Losing My Religion" by REM? Great song, but the chorus differentiation isn't much. Casey
