It's made by placing Jasmine flower petals on the tea and then the fragrant oil of the Jasmine petals soak into the tea. If it was made in North America, it would probably cost a fortune for one cup of tea. Luckily, for us, it can still be bought for practically nothing in comparison to the ingredients and the process it takes to make it. I find that a cup of Jasmine tea feels very decadent even if it's price is inexpensive. I feel like I'm having a real luxury experience when I drink Jasmine tea.

Re: Green Tea
In an earlier post, I said that Edgar Cayce said that drinking tea was bad. I was talking with a person who has read all of the Edgar Cayce books and he said that each reading was usually for an individual. One person was told not to drink tea because it was bad for his condition but that didn't mean that he was saying that tea was bad for everyone. Edgar Cayce recommended all kinds of teas to different individuals.

I love Peppermint Tea...I jsut started getting more into Green Tea cos I recently developed a very strange pain & swelling in my jaw (lasted for a week) & got me very worried (having been a heavy smoker for abt 18 years in the past)... now I drink abt 3 to 4 cuppa Greens each night... & after I started, the swelling immediate subsided lots...Paul... Green Pee?.. Hahahahahah!!! That I find so hilarious... I don't know why!!! =)Ahhh... Taek... I want some of that pure Green green tea!!!The ones in Australia are weak... so weak =(I drink them at night & I still can sleep... they must be weak cos I'm very sensitive to caffeine...I'm gonna look for Rooibos... gonna search for some Japanese shops ard here... if I can find em...Green Tea Rocks yea!!!Epigallocatechin Gallate!!!KI'm glad to hear your swelling is going away. Apparently, there are 40 to 80 healthy nutrients in a single cup of tea so it could be the reason you are feeling better. I know that Peppermint tea is good for you but I remember reading that it shouldn't be taken with other natural remedies and vitamins and minerals because it interferes with their action in the body. You're suppose to drink it a couple of hours before or after other natural supplements. I also read that Peppermint tea curbs the appetite and that people who drank it regularly, lost weight from it. If you're wondering why I know so much about tea it's because I decided to research tea when I gave up drinking coffee in favour of tea. I wanted to investigate all the teas and see which ones I might like to drink. I used to make coffee at home every day but it really affected my health and my sleep. Now that I'm drinking tea instead, I feel better and I sleep much better at night. I came to the conclusion that Chai tea is my favourite tea. It has cinnamon and cloves and cardamon and I like it made in hot water with honey. I also like it made the traditional way in milk. I've been making it with soyamilk although I usually end up with just the hot water version because it takes a lot less time to make.

Green tea is actually recommended at histio.org as a healthy drink for those with Erdheim-Chester Disease. It is on the list to help rid the body of toxins that can build up due to the meds we partake of.Interesting that professionals would acknowledge the usefulness of herbs. They normally want folks on prescrips that do relieve the problem, but bring a whole new set of side effects with them.
I shall wipe every tear from their eyes....

The fourth biggest killer is from side effects from pharmacuedical drugs. Out of the many years that doctors spend in school, they only get a few hours of education based on diet and natural products. Mostly, they are trained to diagnose diseases and to prescribe drugs. There are a few medical doctors that are also well educated in healthy diet and alternative medicines. Dr. Eric Braverman and Dr. Maureen Salaman are two doctors who educated themselves in the latest scientific information of both worlds and they have written helpful books on the subject.

I do have a family physician. Since I'm on testosterone replacement therapy, I began to have problems w/ a swollen prostate. Well, doc says I can take the prescrip, Flomax, or use "Saw Palmetto". The latter worked just fine. I am pleased that she is that informed.
