Greetings From Happy Ron Hill

Post by happyron » Mon Nov 12, 2007 8:56 pm

Greetings all, I just joined taxi and went to the road rally. My name is Happy Ron Hill and I sing the blues. The Happy Man’s music has been described as a cross between Frank Sinatra and South Park. The San Diego Union Tribune has described the Happy Man’s music and “act” as “intentional unintentional comedy”. I live in San Diego. My goal is to write original music oftentimes with a comedy bent, “original” means written from the ground up, not simply re-writing others songs and doing parodies of them. I also try to write good SONGS, not just funny words little thought to the music behind. I have been playing for ten years (with a 5 year break!) but have only gotten “serious” for the last couple of years. I have my music up on several sites:www.myspace.com/happyron (notice the black tracker on the right with more songs)http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemus ... dID=449479 I have done over 300 open mikes and am known for my unique performance style, I have many videos up on youtube: www.youtube.com/happyron My ultimate goal would be appear as myself on the TV show South Park, I could be an animated “Happy Ron” and give the kids advice like Chef used to do and then break into song. I been fortunately to have a great community of people to play music with but his week I have decided to get out of the sunshine and get behind my computer and explore ways of getting my music out to a larger crowd of people especially TV or films. I’m interested in anyone’s idea for how to achieve this goal. Thank you and remember, have you chosen Happiness today?
