Greetings! Introduction from new member

Hi everybody!

My name is Dave. I'm from Chicago, and I'm actually "sort of" a new member. I was a TAXI member once before a few years ago, didn't participate in forums, only submitted a few tracks, and then faded.

Well, now I'm back and I'm ready to roll up my sleeves, take a few (hundred) knocks to get good at making music and put it out there!

My musical tastes are endless ... often too much so. I feel like I'm one of those jack-of-all trades/master of none types haha! That's one of my big goals for 2015: narrow it down to a few different styles I like and develop those to the point of true mastery.

Not exactly Booker T & the MGs yet, but I'm getting better over time! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and working my a** off to finally make all this real.

Thanks guys! Indeed, there's a lot to learn here. I've also realized that one of the reasons I tend to fade in and out on my music pursuit is that I've never built up a good group of friends in it.

No one is an island ... or a least no one *should* be. Especially musicians.

welcome (back) dave! lots of support here on the forums...gotta dive in to have fun...my coolest experience has been making friends with taxi forum peeps, and then meeting them in person at the annual road rally...now THAT's a good time where life-long connections are created.
