"Guitarchitecture" - fun with acoustic guitar design

Post by funsongs » Fri Apr 25, 2025 8:33 am

Greetings fellow guitar-nerds :? :shock: 8-) :D

As I've mentioned to a few local friends- I've got two "Frankenstein" guitar-redesign DIY projects in progress...
but needing to employ local luthier Fred at The Repair Zone for the stuff that requires tools I don't own.

Also - I've been addressing the action and playability of other guitars (the 2012 Martin D-1GT);
and I've reshaped the necks of several mandolins, using hand tools; and I did the set up of my tenor banjo.

THIS IS COOL:

Getting guitars set up to where I WANT TO PLAY THEM makes sense...
your best guitar(s) are those you want to play. :)

Your smileage may vary.
