Guitarist Informal Gathering Information

I've been delaying posting a time and place. I wanted to get a better feel for the schedule and a potential meeting place.

I'm going to suggest we meet on Saturday at 1:30 in the lounge area. ( as we did last year)

As Michael has already reported, the lounge area has been remodeled. So we may need to finalize the "where" after we get to the hotel. I will try to post most specifics later if need be.

In terms of agenda, this is not a jam session or trading licks session. The idea we kicked off last year, and was well received, is sharing tips and tricks on everything guitar oriented.

Learned a great combination of effects and amp configuration in Guitar Rig, share it with us.

Stumbled upon an interesting open tuning, let's hear about it.

Used Melodyne to add a harmony to a guitar part, walk us thru it.

Etc. etc. etc.

We'll meet for 30 to 45 minutes, and there is always the opportunity to continue a conversation over a cold beverage.

The operative word in this gathering is "informal".

Hope to see all the six string slingers. (or in my case seven strings)

Looks like I'll have to miss it. That sucks.
My mentor lunch ends at 2pm on Sat.
I like the idea someone had of putting guitar shaped dots on our badges so we can stop and chat during the rally.

Rats, I'm at the Mentor lunch till 2pm as well. I would rather rub shoulders with you gitar pickers. Maybe I can sell my ticket to a keyboarder that is crashing our exclusive gathering.
