I've had a few forwards since my last post. Just as many returned though but you can't win them all.

CONTEMPORARY DUBSTEP SONGS and INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a MUSIC PUBLISHING/LICENSING COMPANY run by a TOP TV MUSIC SUPERVISOR.Ê They're looking for songs and instrumentals in the vein ofÊ "Promises" by Nero, "Bangarand" Skrillex Ft. Sirah, "I Can't Stop" and "Blow the Roof Off" by Flux Pavillion. This company specializes in placing music in TV shows' "background source scenes" (e.g., bars, restaurants, clubs, coffeeshops, etc). Avoid pieces that are based in another genre and merely feature a few DUBSTEP elements. They're looking for current-sounding pieces that have a legit DUBSTEP sound throughout. Tempo should be typical of the genre. If you're submitting a song with vocals, please be sure lyrics are PG rated. If you've got what they need, this a great chance to get your material placed in Major Network and Cable Hits! They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split on all license fees. You keep 100% of the writer's share and 50% of publishing. Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recordings are fine.) CONTEMPORARY POP PRODUCERS, SONGWRITERS and COMPOSERS who create music in the style of Katy Perry, P!nk, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, etc. are needed by a Leading Manufacturer of Royalty Free Loops and Samples running their FIRST LISTING WITH TAXI. QUOTING THE SOURCE: "I'm looking for producers and artists who can produce master quality tracks and samples. We need creative playing and arranging." Submit songs or instrumentals that show off your ability to play and create music in a Contemporary Pop style. Pieces must be a minimum of 2 minutes. Your submissions must feature (at least) keyboards/synths, bass (live or synth) and a live or programmed drum track.Ê Material with contemporary-sounding Pop guitars are a plus but are not required. Please do not submit loops or a collection of samples or riffs. i am a robot fan so i had to listen to your stuff. enjoyed it very much and 'make you dance' as well. do you do your own singing? the vocal effect makes it sound very current. i don't know much about that genre but the keys sound kinda 80s to me - can you comment on that? just curious. anyway congrats, i hope you get a placement.

I don't really sing (although I was singing the woooo's in 'Make You Dance'. I work with other writers and singers. If you listen to pop/dance these days that 80s sythn/trance sound is used a lot. I'd give you some examples but I don't have time at the moment. Thanks for the compliments.
