Happy BD to Jessica Mellot

I just saw her birthday pop up on the forum home page. Lee, her mother posting as "SlimCharm" here on the forum sometime back made a lot of friends quickly through her posts and adventures in getting Jessica up and going with home recording, etc. Those were fun posts. Maybe I'll email Lee and get her back here for a "Jessica" update.

I seem to remember the posts about setting up the home recording studio got pretty exasperating. I remember even the normally ice-cool Matto lost his rag once or twice. Do you remember the posts saying that the recordings were always really bassy? Then Slim realised that one has to sing into the front of the mic

Yes singing in front of the mic helps! Who knew! Everyone was awesome about helping with the frustrating pro-tools and home recording set up!Thanks Dave for the shout out (as Jessica would say)..I have posted an update!Lee

Apparently a lot of members are shy about giving their birthdays. With 3800+ members, we need more than ten birthdays per day, but the most I have seen is today's 8.Big deal. Why did I write this? So I can mention that our language has no word which denotes people with the same birthday. We need one. Does anyone have any suggestions for this new word?Spanish has one for people with the same name. Ta-ky-yo. I do not know the Spanish spelling.
