happy-go-lucky techno

Post by hummingbird » Thu Feb 05, 2009 10:33 pm

Well, thought I'd try to put something new together for the "happy/upbeat/fun instumental" listing....http://vikkiflawith.com/audio/VIKKI_FLA ... ky_Kat.m3u or go tohttp://www.vikkiflawith.com/music.htmlscroll down to Kooky Kat(PS - I should add that this is "2009-2". I issued a personal challenge to myself to write 52 broadcast quality instrumentals in 2009. Me thinks I'm a little behind, lol)

Thanks, Steve! I was trying for 'light and airy techno" lol. Appreciate the listen & comments.

Hi Vikki,This is definitely a cute piece. I can think of a number of potential uses as happy/upbeat, especially for children.Good luck with this song, and thanks for sharing...Al

hi vicky--this tune is much more upbeat than some of yours i've heard, and i really like it.one thing what is both cool and a bit odd to my ear is the "burping" sound (sorry, that's what it sounds like and the best i can describe it...). i personally found it sounding a bit TOO much like a burp, which had me focusing on it rather than your playful melody.only other comment is the whistle--we can tell it's a whistle, but IMHO i'd like to hear it more clearly as a whistle, a bit less buried/reverb, and more whistle.like it, great job--you are one helluva producer now ma'am, no doubt about that!the best, warren
