hey Colm, the beginning of the song (first 30 seconds or so) reminds me of old Whitesnake or Blue Murder. The part at around the 0:57 mark definitely has a more modern feel to it. The song doesn't really make me think of Nickelback. MAAAAYBE Hinder, but I haven't really listened to alot of their stuff to say for sure. I'd also agree with ontariolightning that it does have a little bit of a Cold feel to it (their A Different Kind of Pain album is one of my all-time favorites). You definitely have the chops and the ability to get good sounds. If you're wanting to submit this to a Nickelback type listing, then I'd suggest taking the part that starts around the 0:57 minute mark and writing around that part. Just my $0.02, - Big Blue
Imagine a steel cage match between Daughtry, Coldplay, Paramore and Demon Hunter with Joe Satriani as the referee...

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I understand the "80s" comparisons, but I didn't actually make the song for a specific listing. Hinder and Nickelback were just the first two bands I thought of when I was writing this thread.Paul, you haven't offended me at all, sorry if I seemed a little strong with my reply? I really don't know what you mean though? I'm sure I could clear up your problem if you can explain your "noise" a little clearer? Thanks again guys,Colm.
