Have you tried these stage pianos?

My old Kurzweil PC88 is dying, and I'm looking for a great bang for the buck stage piano, including some additional basic (but quality) sounds, like a couple of organs, EP's, and a clav or two.
I guess I'm thinking about something between $1000 and $1500, and based on my research, videos, features, and recommendations from Sweetwater, I've kind of landed on two possibilities:
* Roland RD300NX
* Casio PX5S (really? Casio? supposedly yes)
I know that reviews out on the web can be fake, so I thought I'd ask if anyone here plays/has played either of these. I definitely have to hear and feel it before I buy, but am I wasting my time looking for either of these to test?
Or is there another in that price range that you love?

Hey Doug. I love my Yamaha S90ES. It's like a Motif with a better piano sound. They are available used for less than $1K. Many other great sounds too.

Korg's SV1 is my next keyboard. I like my Casio PX3, but the sounds are not in the Korg's league and the operating system is a bit confusing (I hear the PX5 is better and it has some cool performance controls, too but jeez, just listen to the Korg, LOL).

For feel, I prefer Yamaha, but the Casio and Roland are both pretty good - stiffer action, but good.

I had a PC88 too, and was sorry to see it go - good sounds for its day and excellent feel.

I use an excellent piano vsti called Pianoteq. It is a physically modelled piano, or set of piano's. This means that there are endless possibilities in terms of the sound you can get. They also do a passable Rhodes and wurli.
