Yes, the same thing happed to me. I went to a vocal coach here in Melbourne, Australia who teaches 'Speech Level Singing'. Here is one of my vocals using the technique:

This vocal was not particularly loud. I didn't need to push, it's just very easy once you understand how to do it.

pretty cool that some guys are also digging Seth's Speech Level Singing and Jaime Vendera's book !
8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

SLS + Vendera = amazing results... Jaime's book costs less than one singing lesson.

For Jamie's book, it doesnt come with a CD BUT you will have access to his website's members page and there are audio files to be downloaded. Jaime himself also checks his members forum, where you can get your questions answered by other Jaime's students and Jaime..

Seth's best stuff will be "Singer's Advantage Program", comes with CDs and a booklet. you can teach yourself SLS at home with this. you can get this from amazon or ebay very reasonably (costs less than a private lesson as well).

Seth has been workingwith top singers like Stevie Wonder. Jaime works with top rock singers...
its great to learn thechniques from these guys at home :D :D

I just ordered Jaime's book, I'm very excited!
I'll work with it first and likely pick up Seth's book a little later, I was torn on which to start with but I figure both are great options.

Stuart, your voice sounds great!
