Heartbreak Song Idea
New to TAXI. I've been working on a song called "Voicemail" that is technically a heartbreak song that I was considering submitting for listing S250908ZG.
Still fleshing out lyrics, arrangement, and whatnot.
I'm mostly wondering if the idea of the song: obsessing over a voicemail from the past to get through the pain is too specific for TV placement. It feels like it can fit into the past 3 decades at least, but I don't wanna spend too much time on it now if it doesn't have sync appeal. Including a verse and chorus from my initial demo.

Very nice. I think it would be more current for her to obsess about a message (e.g. text) he left her. The term "voicemail" is very dated and young people today text message much more than leave voice messages.
Even with that, it's a bit specific for Film/TV with that concept. And the opening line saying "Tuesday" is a deal breaker (easy to fix). You've got great heartbreak emotion here. Consider a re-write that doesn't focus on the last voicemail or message on her phone? Maybe "the last thing that you said"?
I could see this working well with more universal lyrics.
JMHO!
