Hello fellow music lovers!

I'm new to this whole scene, as I just signed up for Taxi last week. I've been a musician for as long as I can remember, and toured in my college-age days, but am now content writing music as I'm married with 3 little ones. I love what Taxi does for our music community, and hope to connect with all of you going forward.

Just released my 3rd album, and am looking to focus on the strongest tunes for the listings. I'd love to hear what you think about all, or any

Hi Matt and welcome to TAXI

I'm primarily a lyricist, and without lyric sheets can't make a lot of constructive comment. One thing I will say, is that a song like 'Madeline Rose' is pretty unsuitable for film/tv use as it doesn't have universal lyrics (apart from if it is used as source music, such as a juke box or radio playing in a scene).

Apart from that, good luck and may you get tonnes of useful feedback to help you on your journey

Hi Amanda! Thanks for taking the time. I uploaded the lyrics to my Taxi Homepage, but can't seem to find where they're located on the public portion. Hmmm? I'll look into that. You can also find lyrics for each tune on my BandCamp page. I'll include links to both below.

While I'm interested in any avenue, my desire was for these songs to be used by another artist versus TV/Film. Beggars can't be choosers, though

Hi Matt,

Really like "Finished", rhythmic timing of some instruments might need tightening up a bit though. It's a unique track, bit too long. I'd work with it a bit more. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for listening, Dave!! This was the first time I tried combining country, pop, and electronic-like sound. Glad you found it to be unique. Totally agree all my songs are a bit too long, but I'm shooting for an artist to pick up the tunes and really wanted to give them a feel for all the song could be. I'll cut 'er down, if needed.
