HELLO !

Post by sixstring4561 » Tue Apr 26, 2016 1:38 pm

HELLO! Hello is a tune I submitted recently, it did not get forwarded, though I think I was on the right track with lyrics and feel. Critique was relative to recording quality, low end distortion.
Check it out,I would appreciate your feedback! We (my girl Maggie and I ) are making a cool vid for this :D
Thank You.

Fun!!

Spirited vocal! I hear the distortion you mentioned, that and a mix imbalance.
The voc seems awfully hot. The more expert guys will hopefully chime in with more
precise suggestions.

Great work, thus far! I bet the video will be a blast!

I'm no expert, but some really helpful basics that I'd keep in mind are:

Mix -with plenty of headroom

-at a very low level, bringing up each element until you can just hear it,
then (after a break) tweak the mix at a higher volume, just for sweetening.
