Hi all! I'm jimmy and I have been contemplating joining Taxi for some time now. I have read all the "Newbie" posts I can find on here but I am still a little confused as to how it all works. I understand the yearly fee but I need help on how the song submission fee works. If someone could explain or maybe run through the whole song submission process or maybe I missed this explanation somewhere on this site? Anyway, I would appreciate any help from anyone willing to!
Jimmy:
You join, and then you will be able to post your songs to the Taxi site. There are always listings for various genres on the board; they are updated on the 1rst & 15th of each month. Once you're a member, you can click on a particular listing to submit you music. You enter is a credit card #, designate the song, and hit the enter key. A few months later, you fantastical dreams of making it rich in the music world will come crashing down to earth, sort of like Icarus -- oh wait, that's just my experience . . .
You also get critiques back for regular listings, and these can on occasion be quite helpful Some listings are offered on a yes/no basis, and you get no critiques back.
Valuable feedback on your music can be found on the peer to peer forum, and that's free. Actually worth the price of admission.

Hey Ott! Thanks for replying here. I guess what I'm not clear on is the $5 fee per song. I see a lot of members on here have quite a few songs on their profile page. So did they have a $5 fee for each song? Is it only paid once when you submit a song? Or is it paid each time you submit the song? (say you submitted it for more then one listing) Maybe I missed something here explaining this.
Thanks again for your advice!

ps.. Oh, I listened to your myspace music, sounds good man!
Hi Jimmy
As a member you can HOST up to 50 songs on your taxi music page for no charge. You pay $5 for every submission of a song for a given listing. So, if you submit 2 songs for Listing X, it's $10... If you submit one song for 3 different listings, it's $15.
