Hello Art,

Yea, I don't allow todoist to notify me about anything either, so maybe I'm a rebel too who knows... I just use it as a sophisticated task list. It helps me break my writing down into smaller tasks and keeps me from forgetting stuff, and it feels good to check those little boxes off! LOL

And yes Vikki, that would make for an interesting comedy song if done just right ;) (c) Art Turner of course :D

Hi John

I also use Evernote to cut and paste my preferred opportunities into. I put the date at the top. My recent improvement to my system is to put a digit at the front of each entry in the list of interesting opportunities so that I can adjust the priority placement in the list. Sometimes that's because I need to get onto a more complex item earlier, sometimes just due date driven.

I other contexts I use Microsoft OneNote, which I might try swaping to, as you can drag individual notes into a priority order, and change that order the next day if I need to.

I'll experiment with the RSS stuff you mentioned - thanks

I think somebody heard you. I recently opened a Taxi email with deadlines in red at the top of each listing. VERY HELPFUL thank you, John and I'm guessing, Briagha!

Am I the only person that prints out the ones I'm interested in ?

I staple 'em together in date order, the extra space on the sheet of paper is great for scribbling notes when I'm working on it.

I run a highlighter across the date as well, not missed a deadline ..yet. :D

Hey Steven,

Yea, I've been exactly where you've been. A frustration of mine with Evernote for years that I've asked them to remedy it, but it doesn't look like they're going to, was not being able to manually sort items.

I've tried OneNote and I just can't get into it, at least with my workflow.

Note that the RSS thing I mentioned is a cool feature of google sheets, but I couldn't get it to work for this.

Hey mojobone,

I think you're referring to the email from 7/19/16, I saw that too and that is what got me thinking about this in the first place.
That email was cool, but not as helpful as I was initially hoping only because the date (as shown at the bottom of the listing) wasn't at the top, but rather a note like "Dealines Tomorrow" in red, which, is a cool reminder, but doesn't allow for the functionality I need.

Moving the date to the top of the listings on the listings pages on the website would be ideal. :)
