I'm tempted by this one...but intimidated too. To me so much of that sound was Mitch Mitchell's drumming, there ain't no program that can do that and I don't even know any real drummers that can.

Very true! I called TAXI to get the low-down on this listing. They do not want Instrumental covers of Hendrix. They want your track to sound like a late 60s recording and very much the drums, and bass, that you mention. Of course Hendrix, you've gotta have some raunch in there!
