Got the forward for the R&B listing (and we're #8 on the soul charts at you know where, yippee!!):"Classic old school" R&B/SOUL SONGS (no Neo Soul or Modern R&B - NO HIP HOP) are STILL needed by the producer of a 23-year old Female artist who is working on her major label debut. They're looking for just 1 more song. Think Memphis/Motown/Muscle Shoals meets the Philly soul sound. Great, fluid melodies are essential. Lyrically, they want great, positive stories with clean messages, so stay away from "cheatin' songs" or anything too negative or "seductive." If it sounds like a hit song that Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, or Marvin Gaye would have cut, they want it. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD/cassette, include lyrics.
