Hey Nick: Protools Help?

Post by ernstinen » Fri Jan 13, 2006 7:17 am

Hey Nick,Do you know of someone expert in ProtoolsLE and PCs in general in "The Valley" who could come to my studio? Ever since I upgraded my XP and LE software, I've been having problems. First, the digital ins and outs of my Digi002 have been crackling, and now the analog ones are doing the same. I need a troubleshooter-for-hire!Thanks,Ern

Hi Nick,I figured out my original problem: Firewire conflict. My second Firewire output to an M-Audio Firewire Audiophile was conflicting with the one going to the Digi002.So, NOW I'm trying to record from a Masterlink into the 002; I get input signal, but LE won't let me record into it. An occasional box comes up saying "Can't allocate memory bla bla" or something like that.I'm now up to 3% techie, but ---- Ern

I have three Windows slave machines but I don't really work on them, Ern, so I'm afraid I'm not much help.
