Hey lopc! I hear you lookin' for me, bebe. I'm sorry I'm late, been kinda tied up lately.Ignoring the completely amateurish swearin' goin on roun heah (if all y'all wanna swear, please! Do it with some FEELING! ), to address your initial issues:1. Yep, we all get down as dirt sometimes. It's normal. I can almost set my calendar by my low times. The ticket is.....are you still gettin' something outta writing? If so, who cares if you get forwards or not or if you got too many "ime" rhymes or whatever? You can polish as you need it or get someone here to take a look at it. Believe me, there's always somebody waitin' to tell you where you went wrong. 2. I'm gonna shoot my foot off here by sayin' yet one more time that taxi is simply a service. That's all it is. I get that folks are really into each other here (and a fun bunch they are, I'm into 'em too!) but they're here cuz it's providing a service, bottom line. And some of the screeners could really use a good boot out on the street, you ask me. Hey Mike, you listenin'? You can refund my money, boot me off the site or whatever but that's what I think.3. As for your tune (sorry, I digressed up there), love the country chorus......I think the male could try to phrase a little bit better to give it some life. Chits might have something about them singing together more at the end. I don't think it needs an overhaul. Keep the chorus, see if you can get some better phrasing, see if they'll sing together a little more. If your instincts tell you that you should revisit the lyrics, revisit by all means, honey. Liked that song. It's country and you know that ain't my field but I thought the chorus had that easy-singin', foot-tappin thing going on that country is famous for. BTW, your female vox is very very nice. Anyway, sorry to digress there, jes trying to hit all the points everyone else made without repetition. And I'm sure I'm gonna catch hell for my opinion about some of taxi's screeners (which is why we sometimes end up feelin' down about writin' but not always). Whateva.
