I haven't received any crazy reviews yet, but I had a fun time reading yours!

Oh wait, Squids, here's one that you'll really get. After listening to "Bleed" one unnamed dimwit (who clearly did not listen to my CD) said, "...this woman is very angry..." For those of you who don't know, "Bleed" is, to put it lightly, about what if's and potential consequence.I wouldn't have a problem with her disliking it if she knew what it was about

ah, I only heard the short clip on your site of bleed, so i only know the first 2 and a half lines, but from those, it seems to be about self realization.
in the time of trumpets and guitars, there was an oboe

Yeah, Kelly wrote my theme song. Good job, girlfriend! Can't even believe that reviewer said that. These people need more medication. Or less.

I was holding my Chapmanstick (which has a lot of strings) in a newspaper photo with the blurb underneath that said "All Strung Out" and they misquoted me saying my ultimate goal was to play on a cruise ship. First I was offended then I laughed hysterically.

I'm from Sweden myself, but this really takes the price! We do have another music critique working for one of Swedens largest newspapers, he doesn't know anything about music or bands/artists at all, I wonder if its him? MAN! I know this place! One of my friends are working for this page. Well, it's not the man I thought it was from the beginning, that's for sure! Jul 3, 2008, 6:52am, onoffon wrote:That's too funny, Kelly. I was thinking more Uzbekistan... This has always been a favorite of mine - it's posted on a Swedish website reviewing our second CD, Your Mind -Through Different Eyeshttp://home.swipnet.se/tde/lb/onoffon/your_mind.html"It's craazzzy!! The introducing title track are among the most vicious and weirdest tracks I've ever heard. It's as if you take five or why not twenty insane jazz rockers and put them in a hole. Starve them till a close death and then give them their instruments. What happens...? OnOffOn, "Your Mind"."It doesn't get much better than that...

"[lyrics] are a bit predictable in their repetitiveness."I always love it when we get that one for our traditional CHANT songs. Yeah, the CHANT "lyrics" are predictable. And repetitive. In fact, we use the same words over and over again. Nothing new here. And the same lead singer sings them over and over again. We also use the same chord progressions. Back to back, again and again, over and over. But we do change the pace. Does that count?? Guess that's why they call it CHANTING...

I thought it was kind of funny when I got a review about how my album seemed really"in sync" with each other. The funny part is, I did ALL the tracks myself.I guess he thought I was in tune with.....myself.I agree that I dont care if they SLAM or PRAISE me, as long as they do it afterthey have really listened and read the material, you know? The biz is tough enough.

You definitely have to have a sense of humor with all of this I had another one who accused me of condoning spousal abuse after NOT listening to another track. Gimme a break **rolls eyes**
