Cool Ethan... I really like the piece. The overall tone is very good I feel, it's pretty much there, however, the horror part can be accented even more with more dissonant notes...The best way to achieve that effect, not sure if U know that yet... is to add the evil note aka. the witch's note... which is the flat5 from Ur root note... add that note and also the note one semi tone above Ur root note... Hey there eo, fellow bay area denizen!!Cool piece. I like the incessant piano and the weird voices. I wondered as I listened that if I didn't know that you were submitting for a horror listing if I would have heard it as an overtly "horror" type piece. It certainly could be used for a very specific scene in a horror film, obviously a scene with children or a child theme of some type.Cool stuff!!Maybe I'll see you in Marin sometime. I may be doing a very occasional gig up there this summer.Cheers!!Mazz

Thank you Mazz,Yeah it's maybe more creepy than terrifying? It's kinda like in scary films the things you don't see and the things that haven't happened yet are scarier than when they actually happen... if that makes sense. I was going for creepy and foreboding rather than outright horror/Psycho shower scene.Yeah, PM me if you're up this way I'll see if I can come see you. What kind of gig? It's been paradise out here in West Marin the last few days... Cheers, eo.
