How bout a tally on the Beatles listing?

Folks - After to listening to so many fine songs posted here for the Beatles cover song listing, I'm curious to know how many submissions there were and which songs were covered how many times. (ie: Total: 127 - Blackbird:6, Rain:12 etc.).Is that something TAXI can share with us? Hoping to not be inappropriate, just curious. Good luck to all!Andrew

I don't think Taxi will tell us how many were submitted, but based on how many I saw here on the Forum, I'd say A LOT. And all GREAT. I hope that publisher is prepared to have Dot-produced Beatles songs comin' out their ears (PS - Andrew, "dot" means "a member of this forum" )

Being a major Beatles fan, I was VERY impressed with the submissions. I fancy a go myself next time!Well done all!

Vikki and Dave - thanks for your always welcome thoughts - I've been reading a lot about Beatles recording sessions, including Geoff Emerick's book. I gave it a try, but listening to the posts made me realize my own feeble efforts were useless. It did, however, get me out of my MIDI comfort zone to attempt to sing and play guitar into a microphone. Much practice needed there! I do hope we hear about what becomes of this project; maybe someone who is forwarded can give us a hint. Cheers - Andrew
