How Do You Upload Part Of A Song?
How Do You Post Only Part Of A Song To A Website? My demo firm has, on their website, a page where you can listen to the demo singers, and then pick the one you want. They sing one verse, one chorus, and then fade out. How is this done? If I only want to make the first verse and chorus available for listening, rather than the entire song, how do I do it? Also, can this be done on the Taxi website? Thanks in advance.OttLukk

I would assume that playing only a portion of the song then fading out is a function of whatever player they are using. The TAXI player doesn't have that feature as far as I know. You could always make short versions of your songs and post those...

This would also be somthing done in a DAW. Just render the section you want and export.

Audacity is a free audio editor that works with most file types. Prepare for a learning curve, but simple edits and fades shouldn't take too long. Alternatively, you could ask your demo house to provide them; for a minimal upcharge, (I love that phrase) I'm sure they'd be happy to do so.
