For this listing:INDIE ROCK SONGS & INSTRUMENTALS a la Bloc Party, Hot Hot Heat, the Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, etc. are needed by an established and high profile LA-based Music Library. Great vocals and instrumental performances are essential. Male or female vocals OK. No lyrical restrictions -- all themes are OK. They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal -- you keep your original copyrights. Broadcast quality needed. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY -- NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than Mar. 14, 2008.TAXI # Y080314IRI put this together specifically for this listing, I came across a really cool synth sound, I hope it doesn't pull it away from the ala's too much.Thoughts???http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... uggestions for a tiltle are welcome!

Hey Dude, this is cool, I like the verse grove, don't know about that keyboard sound, I would say nay but I'm no expert genre wise, I think you may need more of a melody throughout but I could be wrong, not sure on instr. listings, the keyboard melody sounds close to the other instruments, maybe a slower passage might work, sounds very good, so far.If you leave the synth part in how about "Rage of the Arachnids" for a title, someone else had an "ant song " here recently... Dig it. A lot. The synth is interesting and not so prominently mixed that it will take away.I think it needs something kind of percussive grove to tie together the 'lazy' dream beat and the 'busy' bass part. Maybe some type of hip tambo rhythm?
