How to Fax with Ur Mac?

I'm wondering if there's any way I can fax a document overseas... armed with only a scanner, macbook and internet connection... whereby I scan that document... onto my macbook... and using my macbook and internet conn as a fax machine... over to the fax machine of the other party far far away?Is that possible?Is there any program that can make Ur macbook behave just like a fax? ...and also write & produce kicka$$ hit songs for U on a daily basis?Puzzled,Kel

should be able to scan a document and then email it. check your scanner specs.as for faxing, check out eFax.

If you can scan it as a jpeg, you can select print and then choose the pdf option, save as a pdf and then e-mail it to the other party. If they have e-mail, that is.Like Vikki said, there's services that will allow you to send a fax of a scanned document if you really need to do it that way. Once it's a jpeg you should be able to do it.HTH,Mazz

Oops... I tried that but realized that I still needed a modem fax connected to my Mac...Doh!!! !!!Anyways... problem solved cos I wrote to the company and they said it's cool for me to send the document thru email...Yippee!!!But yes! Hurray for Google searches! ^_^
