WAV files don't have metadata, IIRC. You could stash the WAV and a text file in a folder, zip it and send, OR burn a data CD with WAV and a text document for lyric and copyrightt info, PDF is probably the most universal format. Stuff that in a mailer and snail mail it registered, so you have a receipt showing it was delivered/accepted. You may not be able to send more than a song or two depending on the recipient's email parameters, WAV files tend to be huge compared to data-compressed formats. That's what I do, any other good methods?

WAV files do have meta-data. I can enter the data in Adobe Audition.

Yeah, BWAV files do; I jes' meant it's kinda limited, compared to MP3s: WAV gives you title, artist, maybe track #, there are a couple three more data fields for an MP3.

She wants a link to download the files, she doesn't want them via snail mail. But I don't know how to get anything other than the filename on/in the wav file. How do I get it so that, when the file is downloaded and then opened up on a music-playing program, the song title AND artist name show up?Thanks!!

I put the song title/artist in the file name, separated by a _.
