I probably should have went to bed hours ago since I have to get up for work in about 4 hours but I'm trying to get another song finished up for a listing that's due tomorrow. In between tracking the bass and programming the drums I decided to check my email. I'm glad I did I had a contract waiting for me!!!! It's not a direct result of a TAXI forward, but it is related to TAXI. One of the people I gave a CD to at the Rally added me to their list of composers. I started getting emails from her for various opportunities. One of the companies that she was sending me stuff from seemed to be on a regular basis and I eventually joined up with them on my own this week.Then yesterday I submitted 6 songs to a library that I found through this company. The email I got tonight said that the library wanted to sign all 6 of the tracks!!!!! It's a non-exclusive deal and the songs are instrumentals, or instrumental versions of songs with vocals. The best part... the songs are exclusively for use with MTV!!!!!!! And the pop/punk songs are for one of their reality dating shows... I didn't use to like reality tv, but I think that opinion is about to change If I thought I was on Cloud Nine after the CCM forwards from this past week, I must be on Cloud Ninety-Nine now!!!!!
