Hi Danno. Do you know anybody that could play some guitar or keyboard for you? It'll make a big difference in getting your tunes listened to. It's hard to tell exactly where the melody is going without a few notes in there. I know it's tough when you don't play an instrument, but usually you can find someone who's willing to strum a few chords. IMHOBuc

Hi Buc-I do play some piano and guitar. But I've never been very good at singing at the same time; it's something I'm working on. Good advice. Maybe that 's why your the only response I've gotten. Or the song stinks. So yes some chords in there would help I was hoping the rough vocal, would lend enough of a feel for the main melody (G,D,C) But it looks like by the lack of response it doesn't. It is really great to get some feedback. I would welcome a collaboration if you or anyone else have any ideas. However, since I have put the vocal on there, maybe I have killed anyone else's inspiration. Sorry if that is the case. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Always Victory!

Hi Danno. I'll play around with this song and see what I can come up with, if it's ok with you. It takes a while to get to know people here. I'm fairly new myself. There are some very good, serious writers here on Taxi. You'll get more responses as people get to know you and as you add demo's. Do you have any material that's been professionally demoed? If so, add a link so people can listen. If not, you may want to get a few songs demoed so you have something to pitch to listings. There are a lot of writers here who can help direct you to great musicians and studios for demo's at a reasonable price. Even some simple guitar or piano/vocal demo's.Buc

dannoI didn't listen to your song. The link provided me with two choices, find or save. Find did not work and I did not want to save the song to my hard drive. I am not too handy at these things.You might get moe hits in peer to peer with your song. The traffic there lately has been very slow however. I have placed decent songs there and only got a few comments. I liked the lyrics and the story you told.It sounds like your song is in it's infancy stage yet.I think lots of people are out and about in the summer and not sitting at there computer like me:)Paul
