I’m new here, too, so thanks for posting your questions - helpful for me, too, and it’s nice to meet other newbies. I’m working on my first submission. I’ve tried a couple of songs but get weren’t quite right so I didn’t submit. Hoping I can pull off this next one.

Hey yeah! I just kept reading old posts and saw that the peer to peer forum is used for people to listen to each others songs and help see if the song matches the ad. Check it out. It's pretty cool. It's fun to hear what other members are creating!

Thanks all for the q&a! Been here about 6 weeks myself, but just made my 1st submissions this weekend... Slow starter, I guess, but learning curve is slower for us older folks... Having a ball while working for hours... just like it's supposed to be! So keep talking, people are listening!

I didn't see anyone answer this yet...for every post there are a list of "options" (bottom left, below the three blue buttons that say "Safe draft" - "Preview" - "Submit".

If you want to know about replies, click the bottom one "Notify me when a reply is posted." You do this (or not) for each new topic you post, or for any post you reply to.

The one thing that still confuses me after over a year of membership (and several "forwards") is the use of the hosting link! There was a whole discussion awhile back about how certain forms of the link don't always work (which I think is a real bummer because you really need to count on this working when you send it to people and, at these prices, the damned thing should always work!). I'm talking about this (which is my link):

I made mine case sensitive (which isn't recommended, but I did) but that is not the issue I'm referring to...wish I remember what discussion that was because other people had been having problems with their links.

PS: I forgot to mention that right below the list of Moderators (top left, under the topic title) and just to the right of the yellow "Post Reply" button is a little drop-down menu with a "wrench" icon--that's where you can always "subscribe" or "unsubscribe" to anything!
