I'M OFFERING THIS UP....
...to anyone wishing to do a collab. This is a tune I wrote last month, and am looking for a lyricist/singer to add his/her magic to it. This isn't being aimed at any particular listing. This is just something I'm doing on my own, although if it fits a listing, then by all means, it should be submitted. Also looking to hear any constructive criticism. Does this sound ready? Does it need more tweaking? Does it sound like garbage? Am I wasting my time? Whatever you all come up with. Also, what genre/style do YOU think it falls under?Anyone interested, PM me, and we can discuss more details, and possibly move forward from there. The Song With No NameI-468PS -- Forgive me for the length of the tune. I imagine at some point, it will get trimmed down.

It doesn't sound like garbage, it does need a little tweaking, and if you don't get a better offer I'd be prepared to have a go at coming up with something. You'd have to let me hack it down to three minutes though. Heh.Here's my current CV: myspace.com/kimchristie2You might wanna check whether James Blunt's available first, though.
This post is the kiss of death to your thread.

[insert whatever 'kin emoticon you want here]it's worth pursuing but you'll have to be open to some real compromising if you work with zing on it - and I do recommend keeping that option open. I'm a bit jaded on what I think of her, obviously, but the truth is, she comes up with some completely unique and hooky melodies.hell, it's the way I met her. I knew her voice and melody before I ever saw her face (or anything else)but keep in mind, she thinks like paul weller. in a skirt.if nothing else works out for ya, I'd be happy to dump in my slight skills and give it a shot ... it's worth it. (but we have a deal here in the house of singers .... first come, first serve and she beat me to it cus I was mucking around with the bird)

Re: I'M OFFERING THIS UP....
james blunt is the english corporate pop star. honed and groomed by the industry. complete piece of musical shite but he appeals to the lowest common denominator and has been shoved down the throats of same by the oh so respected industry on this side of the pond.don't worry - you know him ... "it's beeeeeeyouteeeeeful" or was it "you're beautiful" ... I dunno ... it sucked. and it played and played and played till the public liked it. power of the penny.don't get HER started - she makes me sound like a moderate.
