If my song is forwarded, can I still use it?

Post by achare206 » Tue Jan 22, 2008 2:06 pm

...to put a fine point on it:What happens when a song is forwarded to a music library? Does it go through another yea or nay by the music library? Do they strike a deal with you when they add it to their library, or only when someone wants to use it? Should I consider a forwarded song "taken", or can I still shop it around to other places if no contact or deal has been made? Thanks - Andrew"Do you always answer a question with another question?""Who told you that?"

It could take a few months, a year, or even two (in one recent case) to hear anything, if at all. Therefore, keep submitting, and don't hold on to anything until you have a signed deal in your hand.H'Bird
