One thing that's great about the forum is how more experienced folks help newcomers to Taxi and the music world. No question is too silly, only the ones not asked. I've had the pleasure of both giving and receiving help & advice here since 2004.
If you have beginner-to-intermediate questions on all those things that get asked about here all the time-- Taxi listings, publishing, royalties, license fees, film/TV pitches, exclusive, non-exclusive, re-title, reversion, work-for-hire, demos, etc, etc. please feel free to look for me at the rally. I'd be happy to get a cuppa coffee with you and talk. (It's SO much easier than typing!)
I don't know everything, but learned a lot over 10 years in this biz. If I really don't have the best answer for you, I'll see if I can point you to who might.
