I used to spend a lot of time there--the Bay, not Sweet Jimmy's. Now I am ensconced farther north. How life changes.

Horacejesse: So, you were playing Ploker, eh? I don't gamble much but that reminds of another game. I think it's called 'Black Snacks.' And it's making hungry just thinking about it. lol

I submitted some of the songs we did together to Taxi with 6 forwards so far.Didn't Mr. T have a catch phrase? I didn't grow up with a TV so I'm a bit hazy on trivia.

Yeah Nomi - Mr. T's catch phrase was, "I pity the fool." I did grow up with a TV, albeit it was black & white... As for the ten million - I would build the west coast jazz museum that I have already started. Remaster more than 500 hours of analog jazz masters that I own defining west coast jazz for four decades. I would build an internet broadcast facility that would stream live jazz concerts over the internet. And I would fund a series of scholarships for deserving music students around the world. I would complete production of my father's documentary and continue producing a series of films highlighting the lives of great west coast jazzers.I want to leave something tangible for the cultural benefit of the world... I believe that would help in my own small way...

..well, instead of saying "I would, if...." it's much better to say "I do".I believe that for most of us there ARE ways to get more time for the music - some of us have family, but even then it might be possible to handle it so you can invest more time in the music - but that's based on each individual situation.chances to win in the lotery are so damn' small that I don't really care about it. Instead of, I work on goals I know my chances are REALISTIC. I think it's always better TO DO something instead of waiting for something to happen....but to answer your question: 10 m. $ would definitly be nice, I woudn't say no - and yes, I would build my studio where I feel comfortable, and cost's for flying to music trades etc woudn't be a problem.btw: here in Switzerland a guy won about 2 or 3 mio. Swiss francs (1$ is approx. 1.3 swiss franc) in the lottery. Guess what he sayd when he was receiving the winning message...."...thanks, but I don't want this money. My life is good as it is, and it would only be messed up by this money".and he *really* didn't take it - it was the first time ever that a person didn't take the money!

And as much as I try to, and mostly succeed at, finding happiness in the little, "real" things in life (like family, friends, music, and debating the value of karma points)...I'm absolutely positive I would take the money!
